What You Learn

Week One

Foundations

Hair unit anatomy, base types, and density. How to assess a client’s hair loss and pick the right unit for their texture, hairline, and lifestyle. Consultation skills.

Week Two

Preparation and Prep Work

Scalp preparation, stencil cutting, and how to trim a unit to match the client’s natural hairline. Working with adhesives and bonds safely.

Week Three

Installation Day

Full install from start to finish. Bonding technique. Blending the unit into the client’s natural hair for an undetectable result. Styling and finishing.

Week Four

Maintenance and Business

Rebonding cycles, cleaning, aftercare. How to build your client base, price your services, and keep clients coming back every 4–6 weeks.

What You Leave With

Everything you need to start taking paying clients after week four.

Certificate of Completion

Proof you’ve completed the Magic Bootcamp curriculum, signed by MAL. Something to show clients when they ask about your training.

Professional Supply Kit

Everything you need for your first installs. Unit, adhesive, prep supplies, styling tools. No additional kit purchase needed after the course.

Skills You Can Sell

Not theory. You leave the course having done real installs, so you can start booking paying clients the week after graduation.

FAQ

How long is the course?
Four Sundays, one session per week, 1pm to 4pm each session. Total 12 hours of hands-on training over 4 weeks.
Where does the course take place?
5001 Westminster Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19131. If you’re not local, you’ll need to travel for each of the four Sundays.
Do I need prior experience?
Barbering or stylist experience helps, but we teach from the ground up. If you’re motivated and willing to learn, you’ll be fine.
What happens if I miss a session?
We strongly recommend attending all 4 sessions. Missed sessions are hard to make up — the course is sequential.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable once the course begins. If your plans change before the first session, contact MAL directly.
Do my hours really count toward my barber license?
Yes. Through our partnership with Main Attraction Barber Academy, all 12 hours transfer to your barber license hours. Bring proof of your Magic Bootcamp completion certificate.
What’s included in the supply kit?
Everything you need for your first professional installs — unit, adhesives, prep supplies, and styling tools. No additional purchase needed after the course.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Three plans available: weekly ($225 × 4), split ($450 × 2), or pay in full at class 1. All plans require the $300 deposit upfront.
